"Ministries"

Since our Lord and Savior came to serve, and not to be served, we likewise give of our time, talents and treasures. The ministries at Zion provide opportunities for us to grow in our faith and serve our Lord and others.

Nursing Home Visitation This ministry allows our members to give of their time to our shut-ins. Our shut-ins often times experience loneliness and feel cut off from the world. Visitation maintains the relationship between our church and its once active members while providing companionship.

Ushering - Each member is asked throughout the year to serve as usher/greeter. This is another way for one to be involved in the life of the church.

Choir - The choir is comprised of members from Zion and St. Paul's in Fremont. Those who have the gift of singing enhance our worship services by rendering praise to God through music.

LWML - The women who make up the Lutheran Women's Missionary League at Zion meet once a month. Throughout the year they collect donations which are used for humanitarian aid projects in the United States and overseas.

Food Pantries - Our members give a part of their treasures to local food pantries. Each year in November food items are collected and donated to those in need.
